About

I'm an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience of building companies, products and teams. After heading a computer unit in the military, I started my first company, Elbrus, in 1997. Elbrus developed sophisticated software solutions for large clients, such as Philips Medical Systems, IBM and others. In 2005, I co-founded FoxyTunes, which developed the world's most popular music browser add-on. After FoxyTunes was acquired by Yahoo! in 2008, I spent over four years as Yahoo!’s Head of Media Web Apps, running multiple high-profile projects, products and initiatives.

In 2012, I co-founded Loop Commerce where I was the Chief Product & Technology Officer. Loop Commerce is the market leader and innovator in gifting and e-commerce powering gifting for Target, Neiman Marcus, Michael Kors and many others. The company was acquired by Synchrony (NYSE:SYF) in 2018.

I'm also an angel investor, advisor to startup companies, a published author and a creator of popular tools such as ColorZilla and Flickriver.
